I DID NOT CAUSE THIS ONE!

Walking from Leicester on the A508, God allowed me to arrive on the scene at a road traffic accident before the emergency services. Two muslim lads managed to get out of wreck alive, one of them with a nasty gash to the head. Thankfully i carry a first aid kit in my backpack, so bandaging his head, managed to slow the bleeding down. The bandage didn’t look pretty!! but seemed to do the trick, Praise God! Wasn’t long before Fire brigade and Air- Ambulance were there. Leaving I slipped a Gospel tract in the boys pocket and told him to have a read after his head had been stitched! Both the lads were really grateful. I thank God for the opportunity to show His love to these boys. ( see pics above, there’s no pics of two lads for obvious reasons)

AMAZING PROVISION DURING A CHALLENGING TIME

Some of you may know that I have been without a support driver since Sunday afternoon. This has made the task a little tricky at times! Each day I drive the motorhome down 20 miles, trust God to get back up to starting point, and then walk bacK Down to motorhome.

I am learning that miracles of all kind happen when when we are abandoned to dependance upon God.

I thank God for sending these people along at the right time.

This is John Foote (from Husbands Bosworth) who picked me up in his car and delivered me to the door of the motorhome, after I had walked more miles than needed.

This is Tim and a staff member of the Kings Centre, Tim stuffed my backpack with Chocolates, biscuits, bottles of water and gave me £40, Wow!!!

Thanks to Carl from Hanslop for the much needed pint of water.

And a huge thankyou to Debbie (New Life Int) for going the extra mile (literally!!), and to Richard and Dilys Morriss who have retired from Church Leadership but not from the Kingdom.

Churches in Leicester were encouraged and challegned by the testimonies and through the message “… its time to arise”

A man at crossroads,God really                ”…they will lay hands on the sick and
touched him. Please pray for Rich                    they will recover” Mark 16:18

“The lord is high above all nations…”
                                                       Ps 113v4

Some great opportunities to share Jesus today!  Mark Ann and me enjoyed giving hundreds of tracts out and hardly any thrown to the floor, Praise God.

MORE YOUNG PEOPLE DRAWN TO THE BANNER!

A teenage lad asked how far had I walked, and then told his friends , so then i had a small crowd of young people asking all kinds of questions. After an excellent time of sharing my ‘Hope’ and the reason for the walk, one lad said ” THANKS FOR DOING THIS FOR US”.  Thanks for doing this for us!!!??  I never recovered from this comment, all day!

Here’s a few pics of the day’s outreach.

Amazing time in Bradford city centre the flag flew well in the wind, catching a lot of peoples attention giving us great opportunity to share the gospel, two young girls prayed to recieve Jesus, the presence of God fell right there in the middle of the city centre and they didn’t want to leave us. Hallelujah!!!!
It was awesome to walk with Mike for the week to see the Kingdom of God blast anyone who got in its path there was just so many divine encounters with people and I would be here for a week trying to remember them all, amazing to see people in the world so hungry for God. it was also great to see the provision of God on his people, one day we had just about eaten our last meal, the camper was low on diesel and £2 left in the kity. As we were walking Mike found five pence on the ground and felt God say to him, “how much do I have to give you before you give thanks”,so we praised God and it seems mad but within 24 hours that five pence had multiplied 14,000 times.
The bigger picture is through this walk I literaly saw The principalities and powers being pushed back and the Kingdom of heaven forcefully advancing!!! keep going Mike you are shaking the nation.

DAY- 59

This is just amazing! A chef decides to take a day off and meet a mate in town on a glorious sunny day, centre of Nottingham. His mate blows him out last minute, but he still decides, for some reason to go. And who does he meet? “Yep”, a man with a Large flag! Initially I didn’t think the conversation was going anywhere, and then the subject ‘ divine intervention’ was raised! ( by him ) At first he told me that he was a sceptic when it came to faith, but the longer he stayed the softer and more open he became. The presence of God was so there!

We sat down and had a drink together, I must have been with him for 2 hours. I told him that I had come as a result of all the prayers made for him.( his grandparents are christians!) After I prayed for him, he said, that he was going straight out to buy a bible! Talking of journeys, this guy came a long way in just a short while! I think I enjoyed what God did with Darren, the most, so far!!

Here’s a picture of when Darren approached me.

The theme of the service planned a while ago was ’spiritual journeys’ and Celtic Christianity!!!

After the service an elderly lady came up to me and said, “ I wanted to shout hallelujah, but it’s not the done thing around here”. Paul and Annie Trembling kindly let us park the beast of a motorhome on their drive.

Mark Ann has arrived as the new support man!

I had to leave the track for a day and drive down to Rugby to preach at a couples’ wedding ( who used to be my neighbours) Can you spot the Crown flag by the alter? Not sure what the vicar made of it all!

At the reception, it was time for the best man speech: Usual stuff you would expect,  except at the end he told the guests how that the sermon had really touched his heart! This was a bit out of the blue!

After the speeches I went over to the top table to thank the best man and found myself sitting next to the groom’s dad. Remarkably he also was very moved by the message and appeared to be under conviction about his sin! so as i shared about the cross, HE CAME TO FAITH RIGHT THERE AT THE TOP TABLE!!! ( the reception was held in a Masonic Hall) Are you praising God yet?

This lovely old chap said he was going to church in the morning to pray the sinners prayer again! (Please pray for Barney). The former fire chief of Mitcham fire station was present at this wedding, and he too was moved by the gospel message, he later told my wife that his earlier objections to faith were cancelled out!

‘LETS KEEP HEAVEN REJOICING’

It’s been great to have Sam on the team, and I know he has really been impacted whilst touching this amazing journey, all be it the one day! I’ll let Sam give you his account of his experience.
